i remember a time, 20 odd year ago. My then friend told me sagely that my love affair with red meat and music would eventually dissipate and i would effectively be left desiring more mundane thoughts.
Whilst red meat has gone the way of the proverbial ex-boyfriend, music still very much stimulates my senses.
Many genres capture my attention. Some just plain excites me. Am i reaching anyone?

I know what you mean, when the radio play music from around the time I graduated I am taken right back to the feeling and fun I had then.
And when I hear abbas waterloo I am three and at sleeping over at my nan. :-)

Me too, I'm passionate about music can't live without it. It can change your mood in an instant, take you back in time, the lyrics can inspire you and make you think, and some songs you just have to dance to. When I was heartbroken over my ex I couldn't listen to love songs at all was too painful but that's behind me now. Apparantly studies have shown that listening to a favourite piece of music is more effective in lowering blood pressure than blood pressure medication. I can well believe it.
