I am a happy, caring, sensitive lady with an often very daft sense of humour, looking for a bit of love and romance!

I originate from Brighton, but now live in Hampshire on the outskirts of Southampton, near to the beautiful New Forest. I only have 1 child living at home with me now - the others have flown the nest but visit often! My eldest daughter has provided me with my first Grandchild of whom I am very proud.

I would describe myself as down-to-earth, young acting and looking (so I'm told!), intellectual, loving, open minded, practical, romantic, sensitive, spiritual and talkative! I rate honesty and communication very high in any type of relationship.

Although I am happy to dress up and go out on the town sometimes, I really do prefer being close to nature by walking in the Forest or at the beach, or just exploring new places with a digital camera in hand. One of my favourite places is Netley Abbey. It's a very atmospheric ruined Abbey, which I believe is haunted. Other places I like are Beaulieu village, Brockenhurst, and other parts of the forest.

My favourite, most relaxed and happy times are when I am sitting outside somewhere quiet away from the stresses of crowds, in warm sunshine, with nothing to do for an hour except admire the seemingly insignificant things of life that we ignore when busy - butterflies, clouds, trees swaying in the wind,the gentle lapping of waves on the beach, etc. Being able to take time to really appreciate 'being' and to listen to my inner voice - a sort of meditation and just absorbing that 'human experience'.

I work for a College which can be very busy, so chilling out is vital! I love 'time out', I use aromatherapy & massage to relax me as well as walking and gardening.

I like eating and drinking with friends -I like BBQ's, chinese, Italian and Indian food, custard doughnuts and chilled chardonnay! Maybe not all at once!

I like some pubs especially the quaint ones in the New Forest. In the summer I enjoy a cold drink in the sun, but also like playing pool or trying a pub quiz - although I'm not very good!
I love learning new things and believe that life is a journey from which to constantly learn both formally and informally.

I enjoy live music sometimes - most types except heavy Metal and love a good sing along! I love theatre of all kinds and watching good films and dramas at the cinema or on the sofa! It would be good to find a man to share some of these things with!  

I do have free time which I would like to share with a special man - is there one out there? I enjoy life and have some good friends but a special guy would be an added bonus! I would welcome making some new good male friends, and if one developed into a close relationship then that would be wonderful!
I would like to meet someone who could share some of my interests and perhaps introduce me to some of theirs too.
