I am 40 years old. Single. I have one grown up son. I am an administration worker in the local community. I would describe myself as quite shy but i manage to hide it well. I am a good listener and perceptive to other peoples feelings. I am caring and supportive. My parents are from the West Indies but I was born in Yorkshire and moved South more than 20 years ago. 

My son is grown and has started a family of his own and it is time that I started doing more with my life, socially. I would like to meet like minded people whose interests match mine.It would be nice to play backgammon or scrabble with someone in person over a glass of wine which would make a change for me as I only get to play online as nobody I know plays these games. Or even play a game or two online with a friend if the distance is too far. If someone had a free afternoon it would be nice to have company to visit the museums and galleries in London.
