Email address confirmation

 Why do I need to confirm my email address?

We ask you to confirm your email address because it helps us cut down on spam and fraud, and also so that when you contact our helpdesk, we can respond to you. This is to ensure that we are able to assist you with technical support issues using your email address. Confirming your email address will also give you stacks of extra membership points.

 How do I confirm my email address?

When you first join we send an email to the email address you supplied. Contained within that email is a special link back to our site. All you need to do is click that link, and your email address will then be confirmed on our system.

 What if I did not receive my confirmation email?

If you did not receive any emails from us when you joined, you should first check that we have your correct email address. You can do that on your email update page.

If the email address we have is correct, you should check that your email software is not incorrectly filtering our emails to you as spam or into your junk mail or deleted folders. Instructions for doing this can be found with your email program. You can ask us to resend your confirmation email at your resend confirmation email page. This will send a copy of your confirmation email to your email address and you can click the link in that email to confirm your email.
