Oh yes, mine was a little blue mg metro, and I covered my dash with little green ornamental frogs (because my nickname was Froggy in those days). It took me on many an adventure!

It was 1960 and so old it had no letter after the number never mind in front!! 1960, Reg was HOB 203....

I learnt to do body repairs on it. It was a dream that you could tap into the body work and not need to use a nut to back it up as the body was solid metal.
My most memorable car was a Morris Minor I bought while I lived in Cyprus. It was black and white when I bought it. I hand painted it with a red body, black wings, a black line down the middle of the car from back to front and black spots. I sold it for more than I paid for it.

i wote off my sisters pride and joy :)
i bought a vauxhall chevette off my sister and had 2 major accidents in it :) ost me £300 ages ago and i got £700 from the insurance beccause of course it wasnt my fault :)
