I am thinking of going to the movie, have anyone seen the film The Iron Lady? And what did you think about the movie?

Good afternoon :-)
I have now seen the movie, and I agree with your daughter Capp, it is a good movie. I find mrs Thatcher to be a facinating woman, the way she fought her way up in a mans world and also fought against prejudice for beeing a mother and a priminister and also her politics I think the titel "Iron woman" is a good descripiton on her.
But I also think that all the strenght and fighting in the end became her downfall.
I see her as an inteligent and facinating woman. But what kind of illness has got? I think I have heard that she has either altzheimer or dementia, but seeing the movie made me wonder if there could be something else?

I couldn't stand her. She did so much that was wrong particularly here in the north-east. I hated everything that she stood for.

She did have a lot of people against her but the strength she showed towards these people in those days was admirable as I for one could not ever take on a role such as her's. maybe it did contribute to her down fall in the end.
i'm going to go see the scarey movie the women in black soon, time to send a few shivers up me spine!

I heard on tv yesterday that there was a film shown once that was so scary, that people were actually throwing up in the cinema.... does anyone know what that one was called? Unless it was a prediction of Nic going to see The Woman in Black (take a bowl..... without the popcorn in it!)
