I have been considering for months whether to buy a puppy or not. How can I decide whether it's the right thing to do or not? How did you decide? Do you wish you hadn't? I know they are hard work and I worry about getting one and regretting it. I don't want to do that to a puppy. Tell me some bad stuff so I know what I'd be letting myself in for :)

You need to take the puppy for walks. You don't need to do that if you were in China countryside (my experience). Puppy would go out by himself and come back.

there you go cap. move to china and your puppy troubles are over and if it gets too much you can always sell it to someone for their dinner :)

i have been thinking of getting a dog for ages but my circumstances wont allow as i couldnt take it with me to work and wouldnt leave it at home all day alone. they are fantastic to have around but need company

I think that's disgusting. The poor puppy taking itself for a walk. How many times does it not come back and does anybody care?
